This is a game that lasts for the entirety of the evening.
The rules are:
- Drinking with your left hand (or vice versa if you are left handed)
- Smoking in the opposite hand to normal
- No laughing at your own jokes
- Only referring to people by their Surname, not First name
- No pointing with your finger - you must use your elbow
- Drinking with your right hand between the hour and half past, and with your left hand from half past until the hour
You can add any of your own!
If you do anything you shouldn't and someone spots it - it's 2 fingers of your drink!

| Comment: AKA international drinking rules. There's hundreds of them, and every group has different rules... we have no first names, no pointing, no swearing (including hand gestures) without making speech marks with fingers, all drinks must be index finger's length from the edge of the table, not allowed to say drink (noun can be beverage, verb can be consume/imbibe etc), and if someone stands up and says 'Social drinking' everyone else stands up and says 'always a pleasure, never a chore' and drinks! |
