This is a team game or can be individual if there are very few players.

For each team, you will need a paper lunch sack with objects for the team to build a contraption which will "go" from one end of a specific room or distance to another without being touched by the participants (they may blow on them, fan them or they may be propelled by their own forces.)

The key to this game is the usability of the objects you place in the bags..the more interesting and versatile they are, the more creative the teams become. Also, the contents of each bag must be identical to be fair.

I have used objects such as a length of string, a length of tape wound around a Popsicle stick, paper clips, balloon, pinwheel, safety pins, toothpicks, paper pieces, straws (or pieces of straws), rubber bands, cotton balls, bobbie pins or hair pins, etc.)

We have used variations to make it even more interesting by awarding points for the number of objects used and time limits.

The contraptions that get built are very ingenious and teamwork really becomes vital in this competition.

You can decide the winner by the contraption which meets all the criteria and crosses the finish line, or by the one who crosses the finish line first or a combination of other criteria...be creative! It's a really fun game and requires thinking too!
