This game is intended for movie buffs, and is very simple. It can be played with as little as 2 people, but I recommend 3 or more. Here is how it works:
Someone begins by saying out loud the name of an actor/actress, then going clockwise, the next person must then name a movie starring that actor. The next person must name an actor that co-starred with the first actor in the movie just mentioned.
Now is where it gets interesting. The next person must now name a new movie title starring the previous actor. The next person must name a co-starring actor in the movie just mentioned.
Actors or movies may be mentioned more than once in one round, but you may not use the same movie/actor combo in the same round.
If you are stumped, then you pass. If everyone passes, then the person with the last correct answer receives 1 point. They receive a bonus point if they can come up with the next correct response. The person who won the last round begins with a new actor.
The game ends when someone reaches a predetermined amount of points. I don't recommend setting the winning amount higher than 5.
Here is an example with 4 players.
P1 "Tom Cruise"
P2 "A Few Good Men"
P3 "Demi Moore"
P4 "About Last Night"
P1 "Rob Lowe"
P2 "Bad Influence"
P3 "James Spader
P4 "Wolf"
P1 "Michelle Pfeiffer"
P2 "Grease II"
P3 "Pass"
P4 "Pass"
P1 "Pass"
P2 would now receive 1 point, and could receive another bonus point for coming up with either Sid Caesar, or Maxwell Caulfield. P2 could have said an easier movie title, like Batman Returns, but the object is to stump everyone else.
You may also add rules such as you may only say a movie title or actor's name once per round. |
