Get everyone in a circle, wirth one person nominated to start as the Lion King. Everyone else becomes an animal round the circle, in descending order of animal power, with the last person as an amoeba.

Each person now makes their animal noise just once, so you all recognise the sounds. Now the Lion King makes his roar and the noise of any other animal. That animal then makes his noise and someone elses.

If you mess up you have to go be the amoeba and everyone moves one place up changing into the animal that was sat there before.

For example you could be a snake to start with, move up to be a sheep.

The idea of the game is to be the Lion King and stay there as long as possible.

Comment: I played a different version to this, we just call it 'Animal'. Instead of making noises (they're more a secondary feature and don't have to be used), we used hand motions for every animal. The thing is that our game is to become the Elephant since it's a larger animal. It's quite fun and the kids love it when we play it at summer camp. :)
