Plates
On small strips of paper write a usable phrase and place the piece of paper under your dinner guests' plates. The phrase could be "My parents breed crocodiles" for example.

When everyone is seated, ask your guests to privately read their phrase and to fit it discreetly into the dinner conversation. See who notices if something is out of whack!

Hint: it helps to select phrases that might suit the group of guests; i.e. politics, religious topics, family related topics etc.

You can make it competitive by making it a race to see who says their phrase last.

Enjoy.
